The soft green ground cover cushions my body as I lay on my belly and write, the wind is blowing in my hair and a tiny vibrant green bug crawls on my arm. The warmer weather is finally here! I listen to the sounds of the birds singing joyfully, the water lapping against the rocks, as I look up and gaze at the Canadian Geese feeding in the bay. The willow trees swaying gently in the wind doing their own kind of wind dance, the fairies are here, they dance around singing joyfully, a dandy long legs decides to make an appearance and walks across my journal. This evening is perfect, absolute bliss, my body and mind soak in everything around me. I take in a long deep breath and smile. My whole body smiles and I can feel the white glow around me. I am in my own little world and it is very beautiful here.
I notice a small a tightly wound yellow bud amongst the soft green covering on the ground, the new growth of the plants, soft and fuzzy, pieces of small stones and driftwood, yet the plants still grow, even with ducks, geese and wild life walking on it, humans walking to the water’s edge to enjoy the view, the plants still grow, they are strong and resilient. It’s like life, no matter what is going on around you, all the distractions, everything good and not so good, the elements and seasons, we continue to grow and evolve. Take time, learn from the simplest forms of the earth, take time to listen, see and feel. Answers will evolve in the simplest forms.
